The Missionaries Servants of the Holy Spirit started their sharing life and mission in Paraguay on August 29, 1920. The first sisters were: Sr. Betha Fischer, Filiberta Tummler, Juana Hang and Aleda Gassman. They joined "THE HEROES OF MONDAY", Alto Paraná, where the Missionaries of the Divine Word had already started the mission with the aborigines people. These brave missionaries had started the mission with much enthusiasm in the midst of the forest, but, in 1925, they had to leave the mission because of tropical deceases. Even Sr. Betha, died in the mission and was buried among the natives. Part of her body remains as a monument in the common cemetery, now no longer forest but a small village.

In 1952 we have the second coming of the missionaries SSpS to Paraguay. The second coming took place no longer in the forest, but in the town of Colonia Obligado, at Colegio San Blas. This second coming was characterized by the apostolate of Education, among Germans descended.
